EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques

EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques is an alternative healing used to remove emotional distress or any physical pain. In fact, EFT is one of the best healing modalities and it is also referred to as tapping. EFT focuses on the meridian points similar to acupuncture. In Chinese medicine, meridian points are areas of the body that energy flows through. Any imbalance in these areas can cause diseases and sicknesses.  We can heal and fix many physical and emotional problems by restoring balance to the disrupted energy. We can heal or at least lower the severity of the pain.

Many people have seen incredible results for depression, anxiety, or even insomnia.

EFT mainly focuses on these Nine Meridians:

  • Karate chop (KC): small intestine meridian.
  • Top of head (TH): governing vessel
  • Eyebrow (EB): bladder meridian
  • Side of the eye (SE): gallbladder meridian
  • Under the eye (UE): stomach meridian
  • Under the nose (UN): governing vessel
  • Chin (Ch): central vessel
  • Beginning of the collarbone (CB): kidney meridian
  • Under the arm (UA): spleen meridian

Psych-K (Psychological Kinesiology)

Psych-K (Psychological Kinesiology) is a self-help and therapeutic technique that aims to change negative beliefs and behaviors into positive ones by utilizing a combination of psychology, neuroscience, and kinesiology (the study of human movement). Developed by Robert M. Williams, Psych-K is based on the belief that the mind and body are interconnected, and that by changing the way we think and feel, we can create positive changes in our lives.

The technique involves a series of exercises and processes that help to identify and change limiting beliefs and behaviors at the subconscious level, allowing individuals to overcome emotional and psychological barriers and achieve their goals. Psych-K has been used to address a wide range of issues, from anxiety and depression to addiction and relationship problems. It is often used in conjunction with other therapies, such as counseling and coaching, to provide a holistic approach to personal growth and development.

Many times moving on from a painful situation has more to do with our own emotional blocks than anything else. This is when the Emotional Freedom Technique and moving on can work together to bring you the life you deserve.  You can perform EFT anytime and anywhere. 

There are few steps that need to be taken along with using affirmations and tapping. Acknowledgement, a statement of self- acceptance, is the first step for EFT. As we all know, we operate from the conscious mind less than 5% and we are running our life based on the subconscious mind. As Doctor Bruce Lipton said 

“The power of positive thinking will not work unless the subconscious mind has the same programming of the conscious mind.” Using affirmation is vital to reprogramming our subconscious mind. In EFT we combine tapping along with affirmation to get the better result.
